“The best people possess a feeling for beauty, the courage to take risks, the discipline to tell the truth, the capacity for sacrifice. Ironically, their virtues make them vulnerable; they are often wounded, sometimes destroyed.” – Ernest Hemingway in “A Farewell to Arms”
Our journalists, writers and authors of the world, along with the people and situations they write about, all are strangled by the current chaos of the global power shifts. Writers, stay strong and true unto yourselves.
Each citizen makes a difference, too. Every word makes impact. The conversations with friends, posts on social media, thoughts in your head … every word in all forms exudes energy and power. We are all the writers of our own stories, and characters in the stories of those we touch, and our words follow us through future chapters. We cannot edit them out once we release them.
Sending kind words and encouraging thoughts to those in my own word circle.
