Chart’s feature Charticle for the 2024-25 annual issue is on the legacy of giving by Palm Beach Philanthropist Janet Levy. Her latest initiative was forming as Chart went to press so watch for more news on Chart online about the launch of a substantial nonprofit organization on the island.
Janet Levy and a select group of local entrepreneurs and philanthropists established the Palm Beach Ray of Hope Foundation in spring 2024. The nonprofit foundation will empower other local nonprofits by providing them with the resources and support they need to truly make a difference in the community. Several board members and supporters have joined the foundation and they will be announced soon. The foundation will support different charities each year to include many worthwhile causes. One of the first to benefit is Academy for Nursing and Health Occupations. (www.anho.edu.) The following year, Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center is slated to benefit from the foundation.
