PAST AND PRESENT: Charities in the past benefited from Chart art gallery sales which resulted in publicity in Chart. Currently charities are featured in Chart and promoted through Chart with small sponsorship fees. Chart launched a Chart Charity Challenge for Chart members in July 2022 to get free publicity for their favorite charities.

CHART HISTORY: From 2005 to 2013, over 150 charities benefited from Chart art sales with publicity and 20% of art sales. The Gist is About Giving. This letter to the editor in 2016 from an aspiring poet I met in 2008 still inspires me. She lived at Seminole Safe House. I read her hand written poetry aloud as she manicured my nails. She mailed me her book “A Well Manicured Life” eight years later with a letter. “Feb. 2016 LETTER TO EDITOR I was blessed to have my first article published in Fall 2008 Chart about how Safe House of Seminole helped me with overcoming domestic violence. My name is Victoria Colzie and it is now 2016. I’ve written and published my very own autobiography, ‘The Well Manicured Life’. Because you believed in me and my voice, I want you to have a copy. I hope it blesses you just as much as reading my poetry book during your manicure 8 years ago. It has been a labor of life learning and love, inspired and encouraged by you. Thank you. Miracles & Blessings, Victoria Colzie”

In Feb. 2022, 14 years after first reading her poems, and 17 years after creating Chart magazine, I spent over 12 hours each of the last few days on my Mac working on the fifth annual issue of Chart Palm Beach. My long days on my computer follow intense times of selling sponsorships, making interviews, taking photography and creating events and massive publicity opportunities.

I published Chart magazine quarterly in Winter Park for ten years, and now annually in Palm Beach since 2018. I make the Chart charity art promotions look fun, but it’s work. Promoting creative people and writing about the American Dream through my own books and ghostwriting are my passions. The affirmations such as the one below keep inspiring me to continue my life’s work.
