Charticle on Elizabeth DeBrule Event Chair and Director for Meals on Wheels of the Palm Beaches — Elizabeth’s grandmother inspired her philanthropic endeavors from a young age. Elizabeth volunteered with a Meals on Wheels organization in her young adulthood and now holds a leadership position with the local Meals on Wheels. Each organization is independent and the local one is completely privately funded with no government assistance. Meals on Wheels provides lunches, and now breakfast, to over 300 homebound independent seniors. Elizabeth was the chair of the April 2024 More Than A Meal Luncheon at the Kravis Center. The speaker was Sid Stolz of The Blue Zones who gave a talk about healthy lifestyles outlined in the book.
