Charting brothers Billy Dingman and Richie Dingman of The Volvo Store – The Volvo Store has been family owned and operated in Winter Park for 50 years! The first car sold by the dealership was located and refurbished and is on display as part of Winter Park history in the showroom at the dealership on Webster Avenue across from Winter Park Village.
Speaking of history, Chart Publisher Casey Tennyson created and ran the in-house ad agency for The Dingman Group for a year in the late 1980s and over the years was their ad agency again at times. The Volvo Store advertised in Chart magazine for the ten years that Chart published quarterly in Winter Park. Chart appreciates our long-time sponsors! Chart was deeply saddened of the news that Billy passed on Oct. 2, 2024 after his dealership hit a 50 year milestone.
