University of Miami Medical School is active in Palm Beach providing resources for health such as the UHealth Concierge Medicine at Palm Beach on Royal Palm Way and UHealth at Downtown West Palm Beach on Banyan Blvd. The regional Kenneth C. Griffin Cancer Research Building on the UHealth main campus in Miami is slated to open 2025. Palm Beach Health Advocates and Philanthropists Mark and Janet Levy made a donation of $1 million in January 2024 to the two related entities that Janet serves on the advisory boards, Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and and the UM Miller School’s Department of Neurology.
