Renee E. Layman, LMHC provides vision and leadership for the Center for Child Counseling through the life experiences of a child blessed to grow up in a safe, nurturing island-environment in the Bahamas. The vision for The Center for Child Counseling is that every child deserves the best mental health possible so they have the opportunity to thrive. Small words and actions can impact children. Infant and early childhood mental health issues are addressed in a proactive manner with training throughout Palm Beach County in adults who work with children, the children themselves, the schools and the community. The nonprofit has grown exponentially since 2013, and now is the largest nonprofit in the county dedicated to children’s mental health.
