In the nonprofit 1909 space, named for the year Palm Beach County was founded, it’s not co-working but more like co-creating. The entrepreneurial eco-space shares space but also resources, business education, encouragement and camaraderie. The member-based organization supports early-stage entrepreneurs, creatives, small business owners, freelancers and innovators. The new location at 319 Clematis Street in the Historic Comeau Building in West Palm Beach is a comfortable, creative, collaborative space. Some philanthropists like that some of the subsidized rent is for small and start-up nonprofits, furthering 1909’s many benefits to the community.
