Avie and Jill Glazer are the philanthropists and visionaries renovating and reimagining the Royal Poinciana Playhouse in Royal Poinciana Plaza. The couple and their team are creating a cultural home for Palm Beach – in their words, “a place where dance, film, music, engaging talks, and performances can inspire and connect people of all ages.” The playhouse closed a few years after the Glazers moved to Palm Beach 25 years ago. Their hands-on philanthropic style and infectious enthusiasm for both the arts and the community have all of Palm Beach watching the stage, applauding their every step, and waiting for the curtain to rise.
Chart is particularly interested in this charity. Chart magazine was created over 20 years ago when Chart Publisher Casey Tennyson through her ad agency sponsored and produced the printed programs for the newly formed Central Florida Ballet’s performances. Casey saw a marketing need to promote charities and the arts in Florida, so she created the niche publication and related promotions of Chart charity art. Chart now in 2025 is promoting the re-opening of the iconic historic performing arts playhouse in Palm Beach, and could not be more pleased.
