Charting National Flag Day and Local “The Cream Puff” — The American flag design Stars and Stripes was adopted by the Continental Congress on June 14, 1777, the same flag that was used when the Declaration of Independence was signed a year prior. Current day Palm Beach patriotic citizen John Biondo is often seen proudly sporting red, white and blue. John is a veteran of the Army from 1966 to 1973 with 13 weeks in Viet Nam in 1969. His mother died June 29, 2021 at 100 as the third oldest living WWII veteran, a member of the Women’s Army Corps. His father enlisted in the military with his ten brothers the day after Pearl Harbor was bombed in WWII, and all returned safely. John started his career after military service as a Wall Street lawyer for an insurance company, decided to make more income in the salvage business in New York, and now collects and sources classic and collectible “Cream Puff” cars for himself and clients. They don’t make cars like they used to and nor do they make men like they used to. John jokingly is The Cream Puff to Chart, but he is anything but quiet or unopinionated. John is patriotic and loyal and quick to earnestly defend America, American values, organizations he supports, and his friends. John, thank you for your ad again in the recent issue of Chart magazine!
